Iranian authorities, on Wednesday, confirmed that the Intelligence Minister, Esmail Khatib, was assassinated in airstrikes by the U.S./Israel joint forces.
Israel had earlier announced the killing of the Intelligence Minister in the coordinated airstrikes, but Iran remained silence on it.
