Isaac Fayose Accuses Tinubu of Nepotism, Says ‘Everything Is Now Yorùbá’

Businessman and social commentator, Isaac Fayose, has taken a swipe at President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing him of nepotism in his recent appointments of key government officials.

Fayose, in a viral post, expressed concern over what he described as “lopsided and ethnically-biased appointments”, alleging that nearly all strategic positions in Tinubu’s administration are now dominated by individuals from the Yorùbá ethnic group.

He listed several top offices, including the Chief of Staff, Army Chief, CBN Governor, EFCC Chairman, FIRS Boss, NNPC GCEO, DSS Boss, and Attorney General, among others, claiming that they are all occupied by persons of Yorùbá descent.

According to Fayose, the trend reflects a deep level of favoritism that undermines national unity and fairness. He accused the President of being “desperate for a second term”, saying that “nepotism has become the order of the day” under the current administration.

“Tinubu is now desperate for a second term. Look at the appointments — everything is Yorùbá. This is not what we voted for. Nigeria belongs to everyone,” Fayose reportedly stated.
