Social commentator and businessman, Isaac Fayose, has fired back at nightlife promoter Cubana ChiefPriest following alleged mockery over his absence from Aso Rock and not having a public handshake with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a strongly worded reaction, Fayose dismissed the perceived importance of access to the Presidential Villa, describing Aso Rock as a transient seat of power.

“Aso Rock is like a barrack, soldiers come and go, but the barrack remains,” Fayose said. “Cubana Chief Priest is using his picture with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa to troll me. The villa belongs to Nigerians. I’m not your mate. I just want to enter the kingdom of heaven. I don’t want to oppress no one.”

The exchange reportedly began after Cubana Chief Priest shared a photo of himself with President Tinubu, allegedly aimed at taking a swipe at critics, including Fayose, over political relevance and influence.

Responding further, Fayose insisted that proximity to power does not define status or success.

“Life doesn’t begin or end in Aso Rock. I may not flaunt money on social media like you do, but we are not on the same level,” he added.
