Chelsea booked their place in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup with a convincing 2-0 victory over Fluminense at the MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, on Tuesday night. João Pedro was the hero of the night, scoring both goals against his former club to seal an impressive win for the London side.

The 22-year-old forward opened the scoring in the 18th minute with a calm finish after a well-timed pass from Enzo Fernández. He doubled Chelsea’s lead in the 56th minute, controlling a lofted ball from Moises Caicedo before firing past the goalkeeper. Fluminense struggled to respond, with Chelsea maintaining control for most of the match despite a brief scare in the first half.

Chelsea will now face either Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain in the final on Sunday, July 13. Manager Mauricio Pochettino praised his team’s performance and João Pedro’s impact, while fans eagerly anticipate a showdown with one of Europe’s elite sides for the prestigious title.
