Controversial Nigerian journalist, Dr. Kemi Olunloyo, has stirred fresh drama in Nollywood after making a series of explosive allegations against popular actresses Tonto Dikeh and Iyabo Ojo in a post on her verified Facebook page.
Olunloyo, who is known for her outspoken commentary on celebrities and politics, claimed she had previously mentioned Tonto Dikeh’s name in 2021 court documents linked to convicted Nigerian fraudster Olalekan Ponle, also known as Woodberry, an associate of Hushpuppi.
According to her, FBI records from July 2021 allegedly listed several Nigerian women who traveled to Dubai for transactional sex, including Tonto Dikeh, blogger Linda Ikeji, actress Ruth Kadiri, social media influencer Papaya Ex, and others.
She alleged that while Woodberry did not specify who was intimate with him or Hushpuppi, he suggested their sources of wealth were not from their publicly known businesses or professions.
Specific Allegations Against Tonto Dikeh
Olunloyo went further to accuse Tonto Dikeh of facing multiple international travel bans:
- A lifetime ban from the UAE, allegedly for assaulting a Dubai police officer who caught her with drugs during a trip with cross-dresser Bobrisky.
- A 10-year ban from the United States, linked to allegations of forgery in an attempt to obtain a U.S. passport for her son.
- A 10-year ban from Ghana, stemming from a 2016 domestic incident with her ex-husband, Olakunle Churchill, during which she allegedly attacked a Ghanaian police officer.
She criticized Tonto’s role in public life, claiming the actress is “not a good role model for young women.”
Claims About Iyabo Ojo
Turning her focus to actress Iyabo Ojo, Olunloyo alleged that she has been financially supported by high-profile men, including Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and controversial cleric Apostle Johnson Suleman.
She further claimed that Iyabo Ojo’s political support for Peter Obi during the 2023 elections prompted alleged retaliation in the form of unpaid tax charges from the FIRS. Additionally, Olunloyo alleged that the actress has a secret partner in Istanbul who financed her luxury car and cosmetic surgery.
