The Kwara State Police Command has reacted to a viral video showing some of its officers on duty allegedly extorting motor from motorists along Osi-Eruku road in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
In a statement released, the spokesperson of the command, SP Adetoun Ejire-Adeyemi, said the state Commissioner of Police, CP Adekimi Ojo, has ordered an immediate and thorough investigation into the incident. She mentioned that if the officers involved have been identified and found guilty, appropriate disciplinary action will be taken.
The Command remains committed to upholding professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all its operations.
