A Nigerian lady has narrated what she did after her landlord refused to refund her caution fee as she moved out of the apartment.
According to her, she took drastic measures to address the situation.
In some parts of Nigeria, prospective tenants are compelled to pay a ‘’caution fee”, a certain amount of money that the Landlord is supposed to use to fix repairs for any damages caused during the tenants’ stay. If there are no damages recorded, the Landlord is expected to refund the caution fee.
However, this Landlord failed to refund the said fee, and in anger, the female tenant destroyed some items in the house before leaving and thereafter, shared the video online.
While many people have applauded her for her actions, others said she had no right to go to that length to express her anger.
