LG Election: Ohaneze Youth Council backs Arthur Eze on advocacy for Councils election

National President, Ohaneze Youth Council,Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka has backed the Anambra indigenous Stateman, Prince Arthur Eze for identifying with the plight of Local government councils, in Anambra state, thus, calling for immediate conduct of election in the state, urging him to extent the advocacy to all states of Igbo extraction where caretaker committee is being practiced unconstitutional.

Comrade Igboayaka urged the Stateman to keep supporting Mr. President, Mohammed Buhari and Nigeria Financial intelligent Unit(NFIU), in their quest to ensure administrative and financial autonomy to local government, the effort which according to him, would take away over 100 million Nigerians from abject poverty as promised by Mr. President in his next level Agenda.

The National President, however, called upon other prominent Igbo leaders to join chief Arthur Eze on this advocacy call.

He promised to furnish Chief Prince Arthur Eze the Igbo Stateman with accurate facts and figures on the misappropriation of fund running over 6trillion naira of local government council since 1999 embezzled by all former and present governors, thereby, expose all the fraud that has been going on and committed by the past and present governors in Nigeria.

He blamed the increase rate of poverty in the region on the lackadaisical attitude and reckless looting inhabited by some past and present Political Appointees in the zone.

“We have data and figures on how our past and present governors shared over 6tr, those Financial documents are in our research and documentation Directorate of the Council”

He maintained that in each political tenure for local government council election that was not conducted deprived 8,810 councillors and 1,548 chairmen cum vice political opportunity to serve Nigerians which is actually means of political empowerment of Igbo youths and Nigeria respectively.
OYC president Comrade Igboayaka O Igboayaka stated that soonest Nigerians will know the common criminals, through their subsequent revelation about the looted over 6tr from LGA fund.
