A man identified as Yunusa Ahmadu Yusuf has reportedly died after spending several days at a hotel in Karu-Jikwoyi, Abuja, with a woman identified only as Ruth.
According to reports, Yusuf left his home on Tuesday, September 8, 2025, to lodge in the hotel with Ruth. She disclosed that throughout their stay, he consistently refused to eat but consumed alcohol heavily.
On the morning of his death, Ruth said she noticed his deteriorating condition and decided to get him an energy drink. Shortly after taking it, Yusuf allegedly slipped into a coma.
Both Ruth and the hotel management rushed him to a nearby hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead on arrival.
