A man in Abakpa, Enugu State, has shared what happened after he slaughtered 640 chickens for a woman who never returned.
According to him, the woman came with two men dressed in military uniform and asked him to carry out the job. When he questioned them, they claimed she was their boss’s wife, which made him go ahead.
He said the woman later collected ₦500,000 from a POS operator, promising to pay the balance when she returned to pick up the chickens. However, she never came back.
The matter was reported to the police, who have since arrested the two men in uniform, while the woman is still on the run.
