March 9: APGA Mobilizes Grassroots in Final Push for Victory

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) today held a highly successful interactive session for the 326 Wards across the state as the party tightens screws on its plan for victory in the Saturday, March 9, 2019 House of Assembly election in Anambra State.

The event which drew all the 21 Ward Exco Members and their followers together at Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka attracted a huge crowd which stood out as a subtle show of strength as the party makes the final push for victory.

Throngs of party faithful who turned out at the event swore that APGA would bounce back from the slight setback it suffered in the National Assembly Elections a fortnight ago and assured that the party’s iconic cock would crow again with greater vigour in the coming election.

Addressing the gathering, the Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano who is also the National Leader and Chairman of Board of Trustees of APGA charged party members to push for outright victory on Saturday.

He enumerated the highpoints of his administration and reminded the people that the only way to ensure that momentum is sustained is to vote in all APGA candidates in the coming election.

Noting that the House of Assembly election was more important to him than most people knew, Governor Obiano urged APGA members to leave no stone unturned in their push for victory.

Political analysts in Awka the state capital observe that with the huge turnout recorded at the interactive session, APGA has successfully cleared all the cobwebs on its way to a landslide victory in the upcoming House of Assembly election in the state.
