My job’s not done here, Postecoglou dismisses Spurs’ exit talk

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has made it clear that he has no intention of leaving the club, even if Spurs secure victory in tomorrow’s UEFA Europa League final against Manchester United.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated clash on Tuesday, Postecoglou addressed speculation about his future, stating that lifting the trophy would not mark the end of his mission at the North London club.

“No, I don’t think my job is done here,” he said. “I think a trophy would accelerate that, and I think there’s a lot still to be done.”

Tottenham will be aiming to end their long wait for silverware when they face Ruben Amorin’s Manchester United side in the final.

However, the squad will be without young midfielder Lucas Bergvall, who has been ruled out of the match.

“Lucas Bergvall will not be available against Man United,” Postecoglou confirmed.

The final presents a major opportunity for Spurs to cap off their horrible season with continental success and give fans a long-awaited taste of European glory.
