Senator Ned Nwoko has reacted to a viral video in which a young man claimed he was paid ₦5 million to harm Nwoko’s estranged wife, Regina Daniels.
In a statement posted on social media, Nwoko described the allegation as part of a coordinated campaign of online harassment and defamation, insisting the story is false and intended to stir up unnecessary drama.
He has instructed his lawyer to petition the Inspector General of Police, the DSS, and the Police Cybercrime Unit to fish out those behind the viral claim. Nwoko also urged authorities in the US and UK to disregard any attempts to use cooked-up stories to seek asylum or gain undue advantage.
