An Anambra PDP Chieftain & Aspirant PDP Southeast Woman Leader – Lady Juliet Anaeme has called on the attention of the Federal Government to look critically into the empowerment of women and youths as the nation celebrates her 60th Independence Day.
In a statement to the Newsmen, Lady Anaeme stated that ” The Nigerian people are not in a good mood celebrating this year’s independence as a united and indivisible nation due to the level of poverty ranging from high level of unemployment of youths and low concentration of women empowerment “.
She called on the Presidency to build a strong foundation of youth employment and women empowerment before the end of his second term in office.
Unemployment and idleness of our youths/women have increased the rate of crime in our nation, giving room to the Security challenges we are currently facing caused by the Bokoharam group, Bandits, Fulani Herdsmen and the High rate of daily killing/kidnapping of Innocent Citizens of our Republic; she said.
Conclusively, she urged all and sundry to put their hands on deck to ensure our Nation Nigeria moves forward for better.
