
The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General OO Nafiu, has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Corps Members on the successful completion of their one-year mandatory national service.
In a message issued to mark the passing-out ceremony, the NYSC boss commended the corps members for their resilience, patriotism, discipline, and unwavering dedication throughout their service year.
He noted that their contributions across various sectors of the country had made a meaningful impact on national development, describing their efforts as commendable and worthy of recognition.
The Director-General urged the outgoing corps members to uphold the values and experiences gained during the programme as they transition into the next phase of their lives. He also encouraged them to remain committed to personal growth and nation-building.
“As you move on to the next phase of life, I urge you to uphold the values you have acquired during the service, and remain committed to personal development and nation-building,” he said.
Brigadier General Nafiu further wished the corps members success in their future endeavours, assuring them that they would always remain part of the NYSC family.
He reaffirmed the scheme’s enduring motto, stating, “Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve.”
