Nigeria@61: Amb. Ominyi Urges Nigerians To Have Faith In Oneness

…Congratulates Ebonyi State @25

Nigerian High Commissioner to the Republic of Zambia, Ambassador Nwannebuike Ominyi, has urged Nigerians to remain peaceful and have faith in what binds the nation together rather than working towards dividing the country.

A statement he personally signed to mark Nigerian 61st Independence Day and to celebrate Ebonyi State as it clocks 25, Ambassador Ominyi thanked Nigerians and the People of Ebonyi in particular for their “steadfastness in the affairs of our statehood.”

Ambassador Nwanne who is also the Captain of the 2020 Non- Career Ambassadors of Nigeria, used the occasion to salute founding fathers of Nigeria whose, according to him, their dedication and perseverance brought the nation this far.

While saluting President Muhammadu Buhari for his “strives in ensuring the sustenance of our nationhood,” Amb. Ominyi congratulated Ebonyi State governor, Engr. Dave Umahi, his deputy, Barr. Kelechi Igwe and other notable leaders in the state and Nigeria for their steadfastness.

“It indeed another historic day in the annals of our State and Nationhood. Today 1st October 2021, we celebrate yet another milestone as Ebonyi Clocks 25 and Nigeria at 61.

“To Senate President, Speaker House of Reps and indeed all members of the National Assembly, Congratulate you all on this memorable occasion.

“I also congratulate the governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Engr. Dave Umahi, the Deputy Governor, Barr. Kelechi Igwe, PhD, the Speaker and members of Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ogbonna Nwifuru and indeed the good people of Ebonyi State for our steadfastness in the affairs of our statehood,” he said.
