The Nollywood industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of diminutive actress Aunty Ajara, who passed away after a prolonged battle with liver disease.
The actress had been ill for some time, prompting her colleagues to publicly appeal for financial support toward her medical treatment just last week. The appeal drew concern and sympathy from fans and fellow actors who hoped she would recover.
Earlier this week, fellow actress Mama Nonetwork provided an update on Ajara’s condition, revealing that her health had not improved. She also disclosed that doctors discovered the actress was pregnant in December. According to her, Ajara was immediately advised to seek urgent medical attention due to her already fragile health condition.
