Veteran Nollywood actor Clem Ohameze has opened up about his personal struggles, revealing that his only daughter has been his sole pillar of support since he suffered a stroke over two decades ago.
In an emotional statement, Ohameze said his three sons distanced themselves from him during his health ordeal, focusing instead on their wives and children, while his daughter sacrificed her own happiness to care for him.
“Since stroke hit me, my daughter is the only person that has not given up on me. She has been taking care of me for over two decades now. My sons don’t care about me anymore,” he lamented.
The actor admitted that during his younger years, he invested more in his sons, but life’s turn of events has left him deeply appreciative of his daughter’s love.
“If my daughter was not born, I would have been a dead man more than a decade ago. You don’t know what God has done for you if you have a girl child. They are the only people that will never give up on you,” he said.
