The Nigerian Youth Congress (NYC), has congratulated His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, The Ooni of Ife on his Five (5) solid years on the throne of Ooduduwa.
The body disclosed this to journalists in a press release signed by it’s President, Blessing Akinlosotu, today 8 December, 2020, in Abuja.
According to the release,
‘It is factual that The Oba has been an outstanding statesman fostering peace, love and Justice in Yoruba land and beyond.
‘We appreciate his doggedness in ensuring Youths in Nigeria getting a place of honour and purpose and their opinions are recognised and honoured to influence government decisions.
Applauding the Oba, the body applauded his giant strides towards the growth of culture in the nation and charging leaders to be more effective in the quest for a better and sustainable nation.
The NYC President, Blessing Akinlosotu also prayed that the Oba continues to reign in peace and wisdom as he discharges his function as a worthy emblem for what leadership entails.
