The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended heartfelt congratulations to members of the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 as they conclude their mandatory one-year national service.
In a message released to commemorate their Passing-Out Parade (POP), the Director General praised the Corps Members for their commitment, resilience, and positive contributions to the development of their host communities.
“I congratulate you, our 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 passing-out Corps Members, on the successful conclusion of your mandatory service year,” the DG stated.
He expressed confidence that the Corps Members’ experiences during the service year have enriched their understanding of the country and equipped them with lifelong values. “I believe your experience with the Scheme has provided you with many wonderful memories that will shape both your future and that of our beloved country,” he added.
Commending their sacrifices and community engagements, the DG urged the Corps Members to carry the spirit of service into their future endeavors. “I wish you great success in your future careers, whether in the public or private sector. Own Nigeria; serve Nigeria. Go forth and be our worthy brand ambassadors,” he said.
The NYSC Passing-Out Parade marks the official completion of national service for thousands of young Nigerians annually, and this year’s ceremony witnessed celebrations across the country as the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Corps Members took their final bow.
