Ogun Customs Intercept 2,693 Parcels Of Cannabis Sativa

The Ogun 1 command of the Nigeria customs Service has intercepted a truck suspected to be conveying prohibited items around challenge area of Ibadan, Oyo state loaded with 2,693 parcels of cannabis sativa.

Addressing newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Idiroko, Ogun state, Ogun Customs area controller, Godwin Otunla during the official handover to NDLEA, said further investigations revealed that the marijuana, had been ingeniously concealed within fabricated compartments.

He said the prohibited item duty paid value amounted to #172, 920,000 million naira.

He further said the CG has further boosted their life operations within the command by providing additional vehicles.
