Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has been widely applauded and described as a Master of Infrastructure following the award of massive road construction and rehabilitation projects across the state within the last six months.
In line with his commitment to balanced development, the governor has approved several landmark projects, including the 27.94km Ode Ajagba road in Irele Local Government, dualisation works in Akungba–Ikare, 24.75km carriageway from Okitipupa to Igbokoda Jetty, as well as multiple 10km asphalt overlays across Akure, Ondo, Owo, Ose, Akoko, Okitipupa, Irele, and Ilaje.
Other projects include the installation of 1,000 solar-powered streetlights in Akure Township, modern guardrails along Oba Adesida Road in Akure, and the upgrading of Chief Reuben Fasoranti Park.
Observers say the scope and spread of these projects reaffirm Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision to transform Ondo State into a hub of modern infrastructure and economic growth.
