Ondo Governor Nominates Ex- Students Union Leader, Omoyofunmi IBB and others as Commissioner

The governor of Ondo State, Dr. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has nominated a former Student Union Leader, as a commissioner in the state.

This was contained in a statement signed and released on Thursday by the governor’s spokesperson, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, wherein the governor announced 12 nominees for the position of Commissioner in the State Executive Council for confirmation.

Comr. Segun Omoyofunmi Henry (IBB) was a former SUG President, Federal College of Agriculture, Akure (FECA) and Former President of the leading indigenous students association in the state, National Association of Irele Local Government Students (NAILGOS) as commissioner designate.

Other nominees are: Prof. Ajibodun, Engr Aycrinde Abiola Olawoye, Hon. Ayodele Akande, Engr Alabi Johnson, Alhaji Amidu Takuro, Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu, Mr. Idowu Ajanaku, Dr Oluwaseun Abosede Osamaye, Dr Tob Loko, Mr. Olaolu Akindolire, and Hon. Sunday Olajide

The list of the nominees has been forwarded to the Ondo State House of Assembly for confirmation.
