The Ondo State Government has postponed the papers scheduled for tomorrow in the ongoing Joint SS2 Promotion Examination in all public secondary schools across the state.

The postponement of the three papers became imperative due to the public holiday declared by the Federal Government to mourn the former Nigeria President, General Mohammad Buhari, who passed on yesterday in an hospital in London.

The students were earlier scheduled to sit for English Language, Commerce and Woodwork, in the ongoing Joint SS2 Promotion Examination tomorrow in their respective schools.

The Administrative Secretary, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Dr. Akindele Ige said the three papers have been rescheduled to hold on Thursday 24th July, 2025.

The Ministry regrets any inconvenience the postponement might have caused on the students, parents and examiners.
