A disturbing video circulating on social media has sparked outrage after it captured a man violently assaulting a young woman believed to be his girlfriend in Arogbo community, Ondo State.
In the clip, the man was seen repeatedly beating and manhandling the woman while accusing her of using his mobile phone to access his bank account without his consent. The woman, who appeared helpless, endured the assault as onlookers recorded the incident.
The video has drawn widespread condemnation from human rights advocates and social media users, many of whom are demanding the immediate arrest of the perpetrator. Calls are also growing for law enforcement agencies in Ondo State to investigate the case and ensure justice for the victim.
As of press time, it remains unclear whether the victim has reported the assault to authorities. The Ondo State Police Command has yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
