Troops Operation FANSAN YANMA have rescued three victims of abduction and neutralized one armed bandit following a recent attack on Yar Geda Village in Bakura Local Government Area in Zamfara state.
Akelicious report that the operation was carried out on Dec. 14, following a banditry attack in which the three victims were abducted.
According to the sources, the rescued victims – Ahmadu Shehu, 30; Aliyu Lawali, 35; and Ahmadu Lawali, 40 – were unharmed and immediately rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Gusau, for medical check-up.
Sources said joint patrols had been sustained in the area to prevent further attacks and apprehend other fleeing bandits.
