Reality TV star Ese Eriata came under fire after she shared a baby bump video and a follower commented that giving birth outside marriage isn’t a flex. Ese responded that being married isn’t a flex either and asked what achievements a marriage certificate shows that might convince her to give it a shot.
Following the backlash, she cleared the air, stating that she values family and love, grew up in a loving home, and would never dismiss marriage.
Reacting to the backlash she wrote:
”Please ignore bloggers, I would never say marriage is not a flex in a serious conversation. I grew up in a loving home and I know how important family is.

I am not trying to explain I just want to correct the narrative that is being passed about me because I know how people believe anything they see on blogs. Only a damaged person will say a good marriage is not a flex.
I know how exciting it feels to be in a healthy relationship. It’s like a dream come through coming home to someone who doesn’t joke about you.”
