Nigeria winger Henry Onyekuru is set to join Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray on 18-month loan deal from Monaco in the January transfer window.
Onyekuru who joined Monaco from Everton in the summer has struggeld for regular playing time at the club, and he’s yet to play a single game in the last 3 months for the club.
According to Turkish newspaper Sabah, Galatasaray will be responsible for paying part of Onyekuru’s salary.
Galatasaray were not the only club interested in the winger, Fenerbahce also showed interest in signing Onyekuru on loan but the Turkish Champions won the race.
The 22-year-old will be back to the Turkish side by January where he spent 2018-19 season on loan and scored 14 goals in 31 league appearances for Fathi Terim’s men.
