Gunmen attacked the Ban community in Heipang, Barkin Ladin Local Government Area of Plateau State, k!lling two persons and injuring others.
According to Vanguard, the gunmen stormed the community around 11 pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 and opened fire on the victims.
Several people were hit by bullets and rushed to hospital for treatment.
One of the injured victims said to be a student of the Plateau State Polytechnic, later succumbed to gunshot wounds.
The shooting triggered panic among students of the Plateau State Polytechnic, especially those living off-campus.
