Factional Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Abdulrahman Muhammad, on Friday inaugurated a parallel Board of Trustees (BoT), describing it as a rebirth for the party.
Speaking at the event in Abuja, he said the parallel BoT will help return the PDP to its founding principles of justice, fairness, and respect for the rule of law.
Muhammad said internal crises and disregard for the party’s constitution had weakened its moral foundation.
The factional BoT Chairman, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa, pledged to restore the party’s lost glory and promote unity among members.
