Peter Obi Calls for Peace, Generosity in Nigeria as Muslims Celebrate Eid al-Fitr

Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, celebrating the successful completion of Ramadan.

In a statement, Obi rejoiced with Muslims, describing Ramadan as a period of faith, sacrifice, discipline, and compassion. He urged Nigerians to carry forward the lessons of the holy month, including love, humility, generosity, and unity.

Highlighting the challenges facing the nation, Obi called on citizens to show kindness, support the vulnerable, and work collectively toward peace, justice, and national progress.

He prayed that Almighty Allah accepts the ibadah of Muslims, forgives human shortcomings, and blesses both Nigerians and the country with security, prosperity, and abundance.

Obi concluded his message with warm greetings, saying: “Eid Mubarak! Eid Sa’id.”
