In a display of commitment and resilience, the APC gubernatorial candidate in Anambra State, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, braved the heavy rain on Monday to connect with supporters in Oyi Local Government Area.
Undeterred by the weather, Prince Ukachukwu arrived in Nteje to a warm reception from party loyalists and community members. He was accompanied by his running mate, Iyom Uche Ekwunife. The visit began with the formal opening of the party’s newly rented office in Nteje — a symbolic move that reinforces the APC’s growing grassroots presence in the area.
Following the brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, the campaign train moved to the central school in Oyi, where a massive crowd of enthusiastic supporters had gathered under the rain, waving party flags and chanting slogans in support of the candidate.
Addressing the crowd, Prince Ukachukwu expressed gratitude for their unwavering support, stating that their turnout despite the downpour was a testament to their belief in the vision of a better Anambra under his leadership.
“We are not just here to campaign,” he said. “We are here to build a new future. Rain or shine, nothing will stop our movement.”
