Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has shared a heartfelt update on social media, revealing that her once-estranged parents have reunited solely for her happiness as she continues to seek the release of Sammy, who remains in prolonged detention.
In a deeply emotional post, Regina expressed gratitude and disbelief over the reconciliation of her parents, describing them as “two concluded sworn enemies” who set aside their differences without any hidden motives other than supporting their daughter.
She disclosed that both parents are currently in Abuja, standing by her during the challenging period. Regina also voiced frustration over how long Sammy’s detainment has lasted, vowing to take action if necessary.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out, or rather I will march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she wrote.
The actress went on to speak proudly of her parents, describing her father as a once-prominent lawyer whose career was affected by the harsh realities of Nigeria, and her mother as a “powerhouse” who would go to any length for her children.
Regina ended her update with a touching tribute:
“I love you mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted.”
