Veteran Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has sparked intense online reactions after releasing a fiery statement aimed at Yinka, the ex-wife of actor Linc Edochie, brother to Yul Edochie.
In a lengthy social media post shared on Friday night, Rita Edochie a respected figure in the Nigerian film industry and an outspoken supporter of May Yul Edochie harshly criticized Yinka, accusing her of “constituting a nuisance on social media.”
The actress declared that the Edochie family “is not a dumping ground,” alleging that Yinka had been seeking attention through online outbursts.
Edochie’s family is not a dumping ground for retarded individuals,” Rita wrote. “I join all right-thinking men and women, especially May Nation, to call on this mentally deranged patient in America to stop being a nuisance on social media.”
Rita’s post, laced with strong language and emotional undertones, referenced ongoing controversies within the Edochie family, including online feuds involving Yul Edochie, May Edochie, and Judy Austin.
She accused Yinka of trying to tarnish the family’s name and urged her to “move on” from the Edochies, suggesting that her time with the family had long ended.
