Rochas Okorocha’s Aide Slams Critics

The media aide to former Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, Sam Onwuemeodo has challenged those spreading rumours that the court has ordered his principal to give up some money and property to show proof of their claims.

Onwuemeodo in a statement on Tuesday declared that no court at any level has ordered the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to recover anything from Okorocha.

He said this in reaction to claims in certain quarters that the EFCC has been ordered by the court to recover some 33 stolen properties and looted funds from the former Imo Governor.

However, Onwuemeodo declared there is no truth in the rumour, arguing that if truly any such court order like that exists, then the EFCC won’t have invited Okorocha for questioning again. However, Onwuemeodo declared there is no truth in the rumour, arguing that if truly any such court order like that exists, then the EFCC won’t have invited Okorocha for questioning again.
