John Feggo Umunubo, the Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President), has reacted to news of his sudden dismissal from the Presidency.
In a statement on Monday, Umunubo expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve, describing his time in office as an honour.
“It has been my honour to serve this great country and the creative industry,” he said.
The official press release announcing his disengagement stated that his appointment had been terminated with immediate effect. The Presidency also cautioned members of the public not to associate with him in the capacity of Special Assistant on Digital and Creative Economy going forward.
