Popular TV presenter, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, has tragically died after falling from a three-storey building during an armed robbery attack at her residence.
According to her cousin, the incident occurred when gunmen invaded her compound. In the ensuing chaos, Maduagwu reportedly fell from the building and was left unconscious.
Eyewitnesses alleged that when police officers arrived at the scene, they pleaded with them to take her to the hospital, but the officers claimed they could not do so because they had no fuel in their vehicle.
Maduagwu was later rushed to the hospital by other means but, sadly, she was confirmed dead upon arrival.
The heartbreaking development is even more painful for family and friends as the 29-year-old media personality was set to get married in two months and also celebrate her 30th birthday around the same time.
