Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has made explosive allegations against Senator Prince Ned Nwoko, claiming the lawmaker married popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels while she was still a minor.

In a post shared on his social media handle, Sowore alleged that evidence now available shows that Senator Nwoko travelled internationally with Regina Daniels at a time when she was below 18 years old. He claimed to have obtained what he described as Regina Daniels’ passport, which he said confirms her date of birth as October 2001.
According to Sowore, the documents indicate that the couple’s marriage took place in May 2019, when Regina Daniels was reportedly 17 years old. He further accused the senator of falsifying official records, alleging that Nwoko obtained a fake Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) voter’s card to conceal her real age.
Sowore also alleged that the senator introduced the young actress to drugs and manipulated her into submission before their marriage. He claimed that while Nwoko took Regina Daniels on trips to Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt, he deliberately avoided taking her to the United Kingdom, the United States, or other European countries “because he knew the legal implications.”
“These revelations raise serious legal and ethical questions that cannot be ignored,” Sowore stated, adding that “no amount of influence or political power should shield anyone from accountability when such grave issues are involved.”
