Sunday Igboho Seeks FG Backing to Flush Out Bandits from South-West Forests

Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has declared his readiness to collaborate with the Federal Government to eliminate bandits and other criminal elements operating in forests across the South-West region.

Speaking in Ibadan, Oyo State, Adeyemo said he and his supporters are prepared to move into forests in Yorubaland to flush out terrorists attacking rural communities, provided they receive the necessary approval and support from the Federal Government.

He stressed that government backing is crucial for any security operation, noting that he cannot act without official authorization.

“I need the support of the Federal Government to strengthen security in the South-West. I’m ready to enter the forests in Yorubaland with my boys to flush out terrorists attacking our people in rural communities. We can’t do anything without government approval or support,” he said.

Adeyemo added that following his freedom and pardon, he is willing to fully cooperate with authorities to restore peace and security in the region. He maintained that he has the manpower and capacity to support efforts aimed at protecting rural communities from criminal activities.

He reiterated his commitment to working within the law and in partnership with the Federal Government to ensure lasting security across the South-West.
