Men of the Nigeria Police Force on Wednesday, November 19, sealed the National Secretariat of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) at Wadata Plaza, Abuja.
The closure followed a violent face-off between two factions, resulting in firing of teargas at opposing supporters of the party on Tuesday,November 18.
Recall that the Saminu Turaki-led faction clashed with members loyal to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike at the party’s national secretariat.
During the confrontation, Governors Seyi Makinde of Oyo State and Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State were reportedly teargassed.
