Former Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose, has dismissed his reported expulsion from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), declaring that the party has no power to remove him.
In a sharp reaction posted on social media, Fayose said: “The living can’t be found among the dead. The dead don’t expel the living.”
His statement comes amid deepening internal crises within the PDP, with party factions trading blame over alleged anti-party activities. Fayose, a long-time critic of the party’s leadership, maintained that he remains a bona fide member and will not be forced out by what he described as a “dysfunctional” system.
