President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated Nigeria’s national women’s football team, the Super Falcons, following their triumphant performance that secured them the title of Champions of Africa once again.
In a statement released after speaking directly with the team, President Tinubu praised the Super Falcons for accepting the challenge and delivering victory in “true Nigerian fashion.”
“They went. They saw. They have conquered again! CHAMPIONS OF AFRICA!” the President declared with pride.
He commended their brilliance, resilience, and unity, noting that their triumph has lifted the spirits of Nigerians both at home and abroad.
“On behalf of all Nigerians at home, in Morocco, and around the world I told them how proud we are. We are very, very happy. I look forward to welcoming them home soon,” Tinubu added.
