Controversial activist VeryDarkMan has taken to his social media platforms to express outrage over the Federal Government’s decision to ban the airplay of Eedris Abdulkareem’s latest song, ‘Seyi Tell Your Papa’, on TV and radio stations nationwide.
Reacting to the ban, VeryDarkMan accused the government of hypocrisy and misplaced priorities, saying:
“Can you imagine these evil leaders? So you want us to go through all these insecurities in the country and keep quiet? Mothers are dying, children are dying, fathers are being kpai on their farmlands everywhere—and you didn’t notice. But you notice the song of @abdulkareemeedris highlighting our current suffering and go as far as banning it?
But you can’t ban terrorism, you can’t ban the herders kpaiing people, you can’t ban Boko Haram, you can’t ban open grazing. This country is a joke.”
He went on to show solidarity with Eedris, hinting at an upcoming response:
“@abdulkareemeedris get ready, we are shooting another video. Them go ban tire…
And yes—SEYI TELL YOUR PAPA, PEOPLE DEY KPAI. TELL YOUR PAPA COUNTRY HARD. If them no want make we talk, they should secure lives and properties of Nigerians.”
