Anambra State has joined other stakeholders across the country in celebrating the inauguration of Dr. Nkechi Gloria Nnoli as the Federal Character Commissioner representing Anambra State, following her appointment by President Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu, GCFR.
In a congratulatory message released by the Azuka Okwuosa Political Family, the group described Dr. Nnoli’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of competence, integrity, and capacity for national service.
According to the statement signed by Sir Theo Nnorom, KSC, Director-General of the political family, President Tinubu made “the best choice” in entrusting Dr. Nnoli with what it described as a peculiar and sensitive national assignment that requires expertise, efficiency, and sound judgment.
“We have no iota of doubt that Dr. Nkechi Gloria Nnoli will be a quality ambassador and will discharge her responsibilities with distinction,” the statement noted.
The group further prayed for divine guidance, protection, and strength for the new commissioner as she assumes office, expressing confidence that her tenure will make Ndi Anambra proud and contribute positively to national cohesion and fairness, which are core mandates of the Federal Character Commission.
Dr. Nnoli’s inauguration has continued to attract goodwill messages from political leaders, community stakeholders, and supporters within and outside Anambra State, who view her appointment as a boost to the state’s representation at the federal level.
