President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has advised Nigerians to exercise caution during the Christmas festivities, particularly with alcohol consumption, stressing the importance of peace and safety.
Speaking on News Century TV, the president encouraged citizens to celebrate responsibly and avoid actions that could endanger lives or disrupt public order. He emphasized that the festive season should be marked by joy, unity, and mutual respect.
“Stay in peace, dance in peace, no alcohol, no danger to anyone’s life,” Tinubu said, adding that Nigerians should see themselves as members of one great family and look out for one another.
The president’s message forms part of broader calls for calm, responsible celebration and communal harmony across the country during the holiday period.
