Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) have launched a successful offensive against suspected terrorist hideouts in the Bula Daloye cluster of Borno State, recovering arms, explosives and neutralising several fighters.

Akelicious gathered that the coordinated operation was executed at about 1700 hours on November 18, 2025, by personnel of the 21 Special Armoured Battalion, working alongside volunteer forces. The troops reportedly arrived at the first target location, but the terrorists fled upon sighting the advancing team.

The soldiers then proceeded to a second location within the cluster, conducting a detailed scan of a three-kilometre radius where they detected extensive terrorist activities across multiple points. A fierce exchange of gunfire ensued, leading to the neutralisation of an unspecified number of terrorists while others escaped.

All structures identified as terrorist hideouts were subsequently destroyed.

During the advance, one military vehicle triggered an improvised explosive device (IED), injuring two hybrid force personnel. They were immediately stabilised by on-site medical teams, and no fatalities were recorded.

Items recovered during the operation include five AK-47 rifles, six magazines, 67 rounds of 7.62x39mm ammunition, two motorcycles, one Dane gun and a bicycle. An Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team also located and safely detonated four IEDs.

Security sources describe the operation as a significant blow to terrorist elements operating within the Bula Daloye axis.
