The Trump Organization’s official merchandise store is now offering a new item that’s raising eyebrows: a red hat embroidered with “TRUMP 2028”, priced at $50 and listed as “Made in America.”
The new gear appears to be a twist on Donald Trump’s signature “Make America Great Again” hat, and it follows comments he made earlier this year suggesting he might consider a third run for the White House—even though the Constitution bars it.
Trump first teased the idea in March, during a phone interview with NBC News.
“It is far too early to think about it,” he said at the time, while also stressing that he was “not joking” about a possible third term.
When asked directly whether he had been presented with any plans to allow him to seek a third term, Trump replied: “There are methods which you could do it.”
He floated one such scenario involving Vice President J.D. Vance running at the top of the ticket in 2028, with Trump serving as his running mate—only to later assume the presidency again.
