Uche Nwosu Lauds Gov Rochas’a Achievement In Market Development

Earlier today, His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu took his campaign to the thousands of traders who were relocated from different markets in Owerri to the newly built modern markets in Naze and Egbeada in what were outskirts of Owerri, but have now been subsumed into the Owerri Metropolis as a result of the massive infrastructural revolutions of the Rescue Mission administration. The visit which was unscheduled, threw the entire traders into ecstasy as soon as they set their eyes on the Action Alliance governorship candidate whom they variously described as humble, humane, in touch and honest. Majority of the traders abandoned their shops to cheer a young man they obviously believe in and love genuinely.

Ugwumba Uche Nwosu reminded them that these markets would not have been in existence today if Governor Okorocha had allowed naysayers and avowed opponents of Imo’s development to sway him from embarking on the development of these markets.

“When the governor mooted the idea of modernizing these markets, some people rose up against it, while many others said it was impossible. They argued then, that there was no money to build such markets, but His Excellency, our leader, Owelle Rochas Okorocha was undeterred. He was focused on anything that would make Imo better and make lives more comfortable for the citizenry. Today, the Alaba International Market, Imo International Modern Market, Avu Modern Mechanic Village and several other markets in the State are not only operational but bubbling with economic activities. We give that credit to a man of vision, passion and ideas, His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha.”

He further promised to take-off from where Governor Okorocha will stop and do even better. “Some of my brothers who are also running for governor would tell you that they are coming to rebuild, recover or restore. They may really mean to relapse our State into insecurity, payment of school fees, corruption and all those ills that Governor Okorocha has rescued us from. For me, I have come to work. I have come to continue working from where Owelle Rochas Okorocha will stop. I shall fit these markets with more modern facilities like security gadgets and other modern facilities that we can only find in Europe, America and other first world countries.”

He urged the traders to vote for President Muhammadu Buhari, Owelle Rochas Okorocha for Senate and other progressive candidates standing election into the national assembly on the 16th of February.

“This coming Saturday is the presidential and national assembly elections, make sure you travel to wherever you registered and cast your votes for President Muhammadu Buhari. Vote for Governor Rochas Okorocha for Senate Orlu zone and vote for all our candidates standing election for national assembly seats across the AA and APC.”

Mrs. Beatrice who sells foodstuffs in the free zone area of the Imo International Modern Market, Egbeada said she is particularly drawn to Ugwumba Uche Nwosu due to his humility and the fact that he is being supported by Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

“This market is a blessing to me and my family. Owelle Rochas Okorocha made it possible for some of us who didn’t have a place to display our goods, to own shops. My children are going to school free and my husband now rides the new Busimo to complement whatever I bring home from this my small stall. This is why I will support any candidate that will continue with Owelle Rochas Okorocha’s style of administration, because his government has really favored the poor and all the poor people shall support Uche Nwosu.”

His Excellency Ugwumba Uche Nwosu appreciates the huge support he is enjoying from all parts of Imo State and assured that for no reason will he disappoint the expectations of Imo people.
