UEFA has imposed financial penalties on five major European clubs for violations of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations. The governing body of European football announced the fines following an in-depth financial review of the clubs’ recent spending and accounting practices.

Breakdown of the Fines:

  • Chelsea (England): €20 million
  • Barcelona (Spain): €15 million
  • Lyon (France): €12.5 million
