Social media activist, VeryDarkMan, has publicly responded to allegations from the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), accusing him of colluding with fake drug merchants and inciting public unrest.
In a strongly worded post, VeryDarkMan slammed the agency for allegedly diverting attention from serious accusations of extortion leveled against some of its officials. He stated:
“Instead of NAFDAC to address the allegation of extortion against them, they are accusing me of inciting. Well, I am glad they didn’t say I lied against them.”
The activist, known for his bold and controversial takes on national issues, maintained that his advocacy is rooted in seeking justice, particularly for traders in Anambra State, where recent enforcement activities by regulatory authorities have sparked tensions.
“To the Anambra State Police, I am not inciting the traders to cause violence in the state. I am only saying no to the injustice being done to them,” he added.
But the question begging for answers to NAFDAC, is, the #700,000 you are forcing each shop to pay to your office, so that their shops will be opened for business, does this amount transcend to the penalty for selling ” fake ” drugs??? This BAFDAC Director General should be suspended while their activities be probed.
